Innovation Quarterly is Boeing's magazine about its technology and the people who build it. Every feature has to make aerospace engineering clear to a broad reader without losing the engineers.
I art directed and built the layouts: feature openers, diagrams and the pacing from spread to spread.

Show the maneuver, then explain it
Create to Correct covers a flight-test maneuver Boeing engineers automated. The opener draws the flight path across the spread so the reader sees the idea before reading a word. The follow-on pages cover simulation, validation and the team behind the work.

Diagrams that carry the story
Safety analytics and satellite tracking are hard to photograph. A clear diagram and a strong portrait do the work instead.

X-66, MQ-25 and Chinook
Program stories mix field photography with build details: the X-66 sustainable flight demonstrator, MQ-25 carrier testing and a custom machine for Chinook production.

Safety on the floor, a century in the cabin
Safe at Work follows the technology keeping factory teams safe. Have a Seat walks a century of cabin design decade by decade, with the photography doing the pacing.
