The Karma Revero is a luxury plug-in hybrid. Our three-person UI/UX team designed every screen in its infotainment system and digital driver cluster, working to USDOT guidelines for driver distraction.
I designed screens across the system, built the in-car mockups and built some of the wireframes the team worked from.

Glanceable while driving
Large targets, high contrast and one task per screen. The persistent climate bar along the bottom never moves, so a driver can find it without looking.

Two modes, one layout
Drive modes share one structure, so the speed and charge readouts stay in the same place while color and emphasis change.

Every state, designed
A screen is only finished when every state is. Vehicle health alone needed a version for each warning, at two severity levels, for every system the car monitors. The message center followed the same rules.

The same system, off the dash
The visual system carried to the charger's status display, from startup to fully charged.

Seeing it in the car
In-car mockups let the client judge screens at real size and position.
